HUDC Hosts Delegation from the Teachers' Housing Fund

A meeting was held at the General Corporation for Housing and Urban Development (HUDC), on Wednesday, chaired by the Director General, Eng. Jomana Attyat, with the participation of representatives from the Teachers’ Housing Fund / Ministry of Education, and attended by several directors and relevant officials from the corporation.

During the meeting, a presentation was delivered by the Director of the Property and Beneficiary Affairs Department, focusing on the technical support mechanisms provided by the corporation for allocating land to teachers. The meeting also included a detailed briefing to the Teachers’ Fund members on the land sale procedures, eligibility criteria, and the scoring system used to evaluate applications. The presentation clarified how these procedures align with the Fund’s regulations.

Eng. Jomana Attyat emphasized that the corporation will provide technical support to the Ministry of Education Employees' Housing Fund in matters related to site preparation and beneficiary prioritization, in accordance with the Fund’s specific regulations.

This meeting comes as part of implementing the directives of the Prime Minister, to begin procedures for allocating 1,039 land plots for the construction of teacher housing units across various governorates in the Kingdom. These plots, to be provided through HUDC, will be offered to teachers at discounts of up to 50% compared to similar plots based on market value.
