The Director General of the Public Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), Eng.Jomana Attyat, accompanied by the Director of the Engineering Affairs Directorate and relevant staff from the Corporation, conducted an inspection visit to the treatment plants in Abu Alanda Project to review their readiness and ensure the efficient operation of the facilities ahead of the Eid Al-Adha holiday. The visit also aimed to examine a number of citizens’ complaints and follow them up with the relevant specialists and official authorities.

During the tour, emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing the technical and operational readiness of the various treatment plant facilities to ensure the continued provision of services at the required level, as well as on the necessity of adhering to the public safety procedures applicable to the operation of treatment plants.

The visit also included follow-up on routine maintenance works and the measures taken to preserve the operational efficiency of the treatment plants, in addition to monitoring the condition of the associated lines and networks. Technical staff were directed to respond promptly to any observations or emergencies that might arise during the holiday period.

The Director General commended the efforts of the Corporation’s field personnel and reaffirmed the Corporation’s commitment to monitoring its various projects and services in a manner that ensures public safety, environmental protection, and the continued service of citizens.
