Memorandum of Understanding between the Social Security Investment Fund and HUDC

The Chairman of the Social Security Investment Fund, Dr. Azeddine Kanakrieh, and the General Director of the Public Corporation for Housing and Urban Development, Eng. Jomana Attyat, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing real estate investment and driving the momentum of urban development.
And according to a statement from the fund on Monday, the memorandum aims to establish the foundations for joint cooperation between the two parties, contribute to the development of real estate projects, and strengthen the concept of strategic partnership between state institutions.
Kanakrieh stated that the memorandum comes as part of the fund's keenness to cooperate with the concerned parties to enhance investment in projects that achieve a positive economic and social impact, and contribute to activating real estate works and infrastructure development, in line with the principles of the economic modernization vision.
For her part, Attyat stated that the cooperation with the Investment Fund represents a partnership aimed at achieving urban development, with the goal of benefiting from the accumulated expertise of the corporation considering it's a center of expertise in the field of urban planning and design for housing projects.
Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Interior and HUDC

The Ministry of Interior and the Public Housing and Urban Development Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at providing information that support decision-making at both local and national levels and updating the housing information system in the Public Housing and Urban Development Corporation and the necessary urban indicators for preparing the report on the progress made in implementing the urban agenda, which is currently being prepared.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Interior by Dr. Khaled Abu Hamour, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior, and on behalf of the HUDC by Engineer Jomana Attyat.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of the Development Tool System, which was launched by the Ministry of Interior and is considered the first system aimed at saving time and effort in data collection and analysis. It contains many data and indicators that reflect the actual reality of vital sectors and results in periodic reports on each sector that serve decision-makers among development partners. It also includes several scientific and statistical indicators.
The Director-General of HUDC stressed that this agreement aims to include the housing and urban development sector within the Development Tool System, and that this memorandum came as a result of meetings and follow-ups between the two parties to enhance their partnership and enable the corporation to provide services fairly and with high quality that keeps pace with modernity and its smart vision.
This initiative is part of the directives provided by both the Minister of Interior, Mazen Faraya, and the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samen, aiming to raise the level of performance and achieve the highest accuracy of data and information to assist decision-makers in making decisions that serve the national interest and the interest of the citizen.
Signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Department of Lands and Survey and the HUDC

An agreement was signed at the Land and Survey Department between the Land and Survey Department and HUDC, in the presence of Acting Director General of the Land and Survey Department, Mohammad Al-Sawafian, and Director General of HUDC, Engineer Jomana Attyat .
The agreement includes the exchange of geographic information, the processing and organization of data, including geographic information, and electronic linkage between the department and HUDC for the purpose of investigating the ownership of applicants seeking to benefit from the corporation's projects, as well as the names of current and previous landowners within the corporation's projects for a period of five years, which will be automatically renewed. The information exchange between the two parties will be free of charge.
Al-Sawafian emphasized that signing this agreement is part of strengthening the true partnership and continuing joint work and constant coordination between the department and all partners in various fields. This aims to achieve more coordination, speed, and accuracy in completing transactions, saving time, effort, and costs for citizens, in a way that meets the aspirations of service recipients and reflects positively in implementing royal visions and government directives to ease burdens on citizens.
For her part, HUDC Director General, Jomana Attyat, said that signing this agreement comes as a translation of the royal directives regarding the strengthening of the concept of strategic partnership between the various institutions of the country. It is also in line with the corporation's keenness to cooperate and exchange expertise with various national institutions to provide the best and fastest services to citizens.
She pointed out that this is achieved by activating the GIS program and creating a special geographic layer for the corporation's projects, linking it with the surrounding land network, and establishing electronic linkage between the two entities to investigate the ownership of applicants seeking to benefit from the corporation's projects.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, represented by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The memorandum aims to activate cooperation in the housing sector between the two parties. They have agreed to prepare a draft of the executive program to activate the Memorandum of Understanding regarding bilateral cooperation in construction, building, and real estate development.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Amman Municipality and the Public Corporation for Housing and Urban Development

Today, Thursday, the Greater Amman Municipality and HUDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of the Minister of Public Works and Housing and Chairman of HUDC board of directors, Engineer Yahya Al-Kasbi. The memorandum was signed by Dr. Youssef Al-Shawarbeh, Chairman of the Amman Municipality Committee, and Engineer Jomana Attyat, Director General of the Public Corporation for Housing and Urban Development.The memorandum aims to exchange expertise and geographic information for official use, to expedite procedures that serve the citizens.
Dr. Youssef Al-Shawarbeh emphasized that the Municipality adopts collaboration and openness in its relations with ministries and state institutions, and that its capabilities are national assets available to all partners to benefit from, aiming to provide the best public service.
He added that the Municipality of Amman seeks to build a unified database system at both the city and national levels to enhance services for citizens.
Minister Yahya Al-Kasbi stated that the cooperation between the ministry and the municipality has significantly raised the level of joint services between the two parties, commending the efforts of the Amman Municipality Committee to enhance cooperation with all institutions and departments involved in the housing, construction, and contracting sectors.
He emphasized that the government places importance on enhancing investment, whether through its official institutions like the Housing and Urban Development Corporation, which provides suitable housing for Jordanian citizens with incentives and preferential prices, or by supporting private sector companies to contribute to the Jordanian economy.
In her statement, HUDC Director General Jomana Attyat mentioned that the memorandum will accelerate procedures and communications between the corporation and the municipality on various joint matters. She emphasized that the agreement opens new avenues of cooperation to overcome obstacles and facilitate the provision of services related to municipal regulatory and zoning matters by the corporation.
According to the memorandum, through electronic linkage between the two parties, there will be an exchange of geographic information. The Municipality will provide the corporation with updated geographic layers agreed upon, including regulatory streets, neighborhoods, land uses, and park layers within its locations. The corporation, in turn, commits to providing the Municipality with updated geographic layers for corporation locations within the Municipality's boundaries, including its delineated and undeveloped projects.
The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation in exchanging information derived from processing and organizing geographic data for the public good. Additionally, the memorandum stipulates that a team from the Municipality will train a team from the Public Corporation for Housing and Urban Development to facilitate the construction of a geographic information system specific to the corporation.

Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Yahya Al-Kasbi, chaired the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding today, Tuesday, between the Social Security Investment Fund and HUDC. The memorandum aims to frame cooperation between the two institutions at the Fund's headquarters.
The memorandum, signed by Khuloud Al-Saqaf, President of the Social Security Investment Fund, and Engineer Jomana Attyat, Director General of HUDC, aims to contribute to real estate development, exchange expertise, and align with the legislative frameworks governing the work of both institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by several ministry, fund, and corporation officials.
During the signing, Engineer Al-Kasbi stated that the memorandum reinforces the concept of strategic partnership between state institutions and aligns with royal directives, reflecting the government's commitment to translating them into reality. He emphasized that the Jordanian government prioritizes investment across various sectors, offering grants and incentives to encourage and support economic growth and job opportunities.
Khuloud Al-Saqaf, President of the Investment Fund, expressed that the Fund values partnerships to exchange expertise with national institutions, which enhances the investment and business environment in the Kingdom, benefiting both the Fund and the national economy at large. She stated that as a long-term strategic investor is keen to increasing its real estate portfolio and to diversify its holdings which comprise raw lands, buildings, and multi-purpose commercial complexes, managed according to global best practices in retirement fund management.
As of September 30, 2021, the total value of the real estate portfolio amounted to 725 million Jordanian dinars, constituting 6% of the Fund's total portfolio valued at 12.1 billion Jordanian dinars.
Engineer Jumana Al-Atyat, Director General of the Public Corporation for Housing and Urban Development, emphasized that this memorandum of understanding solidifies the principle of partnership and collaboration between various official institutions. It aims to leverage the corporation's accumulated expertise in real estate development, renowned for its design, supervision, and provision of housing and construction studies.
A memorandum of understanding with the Military Credit Fund

HUDC has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Military Credit Fund to finance beneficiaries from the Corporation's projects who qualify under the regulations of the Military Credit Fund, in accordance with the Corporation's law. This initiative stems from royal directives aimed at enhancing the integration of state institutions. The Corporation is tasked with addressing housing crises, including the sale, allocation, and ownership of properties and residential units, with the authority to sell residential units to eligible entities for resale to beneficiaries.
