The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan won, for the second consecutive year, the design of the poster for Arab Housing Day 2023, which was titled "Humanizing Cities: A Pillar of Mental Health for Community Members." The winning poster was chosen as a result of voting on the posters submitted by Arab countries by the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction in its 39th session, held in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt from December 18-20.
The selection of this poster comes in light of the competition announced by HUDC in local newspapers and on its website, aiming to enable and highlight local expertise. The submitted designs were evaluated and compared by a specialized technical committee chaired by Engineer Jomana Atyat, Director General of the General Housing and Urban Development Corporation. The first prize, announced by the corporation for this purpose, was awarded to the design submitted by Engineer Lujain Ziyad Hudeib, one of the newly graduated engineers whose energy and motivation the corporation seeks to support.
