Today, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samen, inspected the Jariba housing project in the western region of Zarqa Governorate.

Abu Al-Samen listened to the Director General of HUDC, Eng. Jomana Attyat, who provided a summary of the first phase of the project, the work carried out in it, and HUDC's plans to market the project within the conditions and advantages that take into account the purchasing power of the citizens and the specificity of the Jordanian family.

The cost of preparing the project and establishing its infrastructure amounted to one and a half million Jordanian dinars, while the number of proposed land properties to be completed is 350.

During his tour of the project, Abu Al-Samen met with a number of residents of the western Zarqa area in the presence of MP Ahmed Al-Khalayleh. He discussed with them the impact of the housing projects in the Jariba area on the developmental and social reality of the region.

Abu Al-Samen listened to the demands of the residents, which were related to allocating plots of land in the project for public services and establishing social facilities. The minister promised to study the submitted demands and implement what is possible within the regulations and laws, noting that there are various spaces for establishing schools, health centers, and mosques, in addition to creating green areas and public gardens.
