The Director General of HUDC, Eng. Jomana Attyat, inspected several HUDC projects in Karak Governorate. The visit aimed to follow up on the effects of the recent weather events that affected some governorates the week before last, causing flash floods, especially in Karak.

HUDC responded immediately to the impact of the heavy rains and formed a specialized technical team to conduct rapid field inspections to assess the condition of its projects, determine the extent of their exposure to storms, rainfall, and floods, and identify any issues or observations, starting in Karak in the south and continuing to other regions.

The inspection tour covered the Al-Adnaniya, Zahum, and Al-Marj projects, where she directed the Engineering Affairs Department to quickly repair damages and take preventive measures to avoid future occurrences. HUDC continuously issues safety warnings and guidelines during adverse weather conditions.
