Field Visits

The General Corporation for Housing and Urban Development (HUDC) has begun practical steps to implement the Cabinet’s decision, under which a project was launched to develop residential lands at reduced prices for citizens in several areas experiencing population pressures and service challenges. The project is directly managed by HUDC, with the first phase starting in specific locations within the governorates of Zarqa, Karak, and Ma'an.

HUDC has initiated coordination with the Department of Land and Survey in this regard to attach available project data, land topography, and update the surveying maps related to the projects. Additionally, coordination has begun with the relevant authorities assigned to implement the decision, each within their scope of responsibility.

Furthermore, it has started preliminary preparations for project planning. The Director General, Eng. Jomana Attyat, accompanied by the planning team, conducted field visits to the Muhi (1+2) and Al-Qatraneh projects in Karak, as well as the Al-Batrawi project in Zarqa, to assess the technical conditions, executed and pending services, and evaluate the available infrastructure on-site.
