A delegation headed by the Director General of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), Eng. Jomana Attyat, and the Director of Follow-up and International Cooperation, Mr. Ayman Al-Magharebah, took part in the 71st meeting of the Scientific Technical Advisory Committee of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, organized by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
The meetings featured extensive discussions focusing on ways to enhance Arab cooperation in the fields of housing and urban development, in addition to drafting proposed resolutions and an agenda to be submitted for adoption during the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, scheduled to be held in the State of Qatar in December 2025.
Jordan presented its experience in the housing and urban development sector, along with its regional and Arab participations.
The participating delegation also submitted proposals for the theme of the Arab Housing Day 2026 with content summaries, in addition to discussing 25 items on the committee’s agenda and clarifying Jordan’s achievements under each draft resolution, as well as its experience in preparing international reports and developing housing policies.
