The Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) has completed the removal of the wastewater treatment plant at the Al-Mustanada Project, east of Amman, after it was connected to the public sewerage network. The corporation worked to ensure proper administrative, technical, and legal procedures.

Director General Eng. Jumana Attyat stated that the corporation coordinated and followed up through the proper procedures with government agencies and relevant entities, including the Ministry of Interior and Greater Amman Municipality, after regaining possession of the plant pursuant to a court ruling.

She added that the corporation had, over an extended period, surveyed the views of residents living in the project and taken all legal measures to reclaim possession of the plant. It then carried out the necessary coordination and formed various committees. She highlighted the importance of joint coordination with all government agencies to serve its projects and address citizens’ needs. In parallel, the corporation is currently developing modern planning visions for its projects and working to address and identify citizens’ needs.
